Step 10: Formal advice of listing

The Minister for Health and Ageing authorises the listing of items on the Schedule of Pharmaceutical Benefits by the tabling of legislative instruments which are registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

• You will receive a formal letter advising that the listing is approved approximately one month prior to the listing date.
• The listing is then published in the Schedule of Pharmaceutical Benefits.
