The Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) has published its July 2026 update.
This update provides an overview of the July PBAC meeting, including the number and types of agenda items considered and metrics on submission timeframes for applications assessed at the meeting. It also highlights key areas of PBAC's out-of-session work, including issues relating to sponsor-provided patient access programs and the need for clear information for clinicians and patients about treatment costs, access arrangements and transitions between treatments.
