The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (the Department) is progressing a series of reforms under the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Policy and Methods Review, with changes being introduced in stages to support a smooth transition and maintain continuity across the system.
The Department is now inviting expressions of interest from consumers, patients, carers, prescribers and pharmacists to join the Multistakeholder Health Technology Assessment Reform and Implementation Reference Group. Consultation with the pharmaceutical industry will occur separately from the reference group.
The Reference Group will provide advice to the Department and bring a range of perspectives to support implementation of health technology assessment reforms.
We encourage applications from anyone with relevant knowledge, experience or perspectives on access to medicines, especially health technology assessment.
