The Department published a fact sheet ‘Principles for broad (multi-cancer) listings for programmed cell death-1/programmed death ligand-1 (PD-(L)1) inhibitors’ in June 2026. This document outlines the guiding principles for sponsors who may be seeking a broad (multi-cancer) listing for PD-(L)1 inhibitors.
The PBAC had the opportunity to discuss the published PD-(L)1 Guidance at its September 2026 Intracycle Meeting and asked that sponsors engage with clinicians and consumer groups early in the development of their clinical evidence summary. The PBAC encouraged sponsors to include this input alongside their summarised clinical evidence. The Principles of broad listings for PD-L1 inhibitors fact sheet has been updated accordingly.
