Schizophrenia

Note

For the purpose of administering this restriction, Schizophrenia refers to schizophrenia spectrum disorders outlined in the DSM-5 criteria.

Acute mania

Clinical criteria:

  • The condition must be associated with bipolar I disorder,

AND

  • The treatment must be as adjunctive therapy to mood stabilisers,

AND

  • The treatment must be limited to up to 6 months per episode.
