Page last updated: 24 August 2022

Key Performance Measures (KPM) for the 7CPA were developed as an evaluation framework for operation of the 7CPA. The KPM aim to enable government, the sector and the community to assess impacts of the 7CPA, based on the available evidence, and whether objectives and health outcomes have been achieved effectively and efficiently under the 7CPA.

The KPM are a new undertaking under the 7CPA. No other evaluation mechanisms were developed under previous Community Pharmacy Agreements.

The KPM were developed in collaboration between the Department of Health and key stakeholders including, the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation and the Consumers Health Forum of Australia.
