Extension to Feedback for Public Consultation - Standardised Redactions of public Summary Documents - Open 2 August to 2 September 2019

On 30 July 2019, the Department of Health held an information forum to provide industry, consumers and clinicians with information on the process improvements to standardise the redaction of Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) Public Summary Documents (PSDs).

At the request of industry, the Department has extended the PSD consultation period by an additional two weeks. Feedback and comments on the Consultation Paper – Standardised Redactions of Public Summary Documents now closes on Monday 2 September 2019.

Improved processes and revised cost recovery arrangements support the Government’s commitment under the Strategic Agreement to improve the transparency, timeliness and efficiency of Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) listing processes.
