Background

The Department conducted an annual review of PBS/NIP listing and management fees to come into effect on 1 July 2021.

The activity based costing model previously agreed by Government remains the basis for charging categories and rates.

An indexation approach has been applied to all fees to reflect the current efficient costs of delivering services based on an inflation rate for future years set by the Department of Finance.

Public consultation on the draft 2021-22 CRIS was undertaken In April 2021. The published CRIS incorporates stakeholder feedback.
